A Loft at V3 Ranch | Breckenridge Wedding Flowers | Jenny + Jimmy

I'll admit it.  I teared up several times while designing this post.  I think it's because these photos are truly moving.  And because in them are so many beautiful moments of people I have come to adore...

My sweet friend Becky.  We were introduced about 4 years ago when she photographed a wedding I designed flowers for.  From the moment I met her, I knew we would be friends.  And while I love love love any chance to get to work with her on weddings, our friendship has become so much more than a chance to network.  She is a blessing in my life, a woman I look up to, and someone who I know I can always count on.  The emotion caught on her face at her sister's wedding is beyond beautiful.

Her sister, Jenny, who was the most gorgeous bride.  I have loved getting to know her over the years.  She's been a model in several of our styled shoots and someone I have always gotten along with.  I loved every moment of working wth her.  She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  And she was the easiest, most relaxed bride I have ever worked with.  Her trust allowed me the freedom to design as I love to and I like to think the result was pretty epic.  As designers, the reaction of the bride when you hand over her bridal bouquet is one you kind of hold your breath/live for.  Jenny's reaction of sincere happy tears pretty much made my whole summer (:

Jenny's bridesmaids.  Pretty much the sweetest girls you'll ever know.  Julie was a bride of mine a few years ago and someone I loved working with.  It was so fun to see her smiling face and hear that marriage is going well for her and Kurt.  Shay was a model in another styled photoshoot we did and remains just as beautiful and sweet.  And Casey.  Pretty much the most adorable woman you've ever met.  Genuine and beautiful.  One of my favorite qualities about Casey is that she is a true flower lover.  Someone who litterally freaks out (in the best way!) anytime I bring flowers in the room.  It makes my flower-obsessed heart happy.  You're next, Casey (:

And lastly, Kerinsa.  Kerinsa took some of the most beautiful detail images of flowers I have ever received.  I was in shock when I saw the colors, the lighting, the amount of amazing detail shots of flowers.  I think she is outstanding at what she does and I wish she could stay with me all day and take pictures of all my designs (:

Breckenridge Wedding Flowers | Cori Cook + Becky Young

One of the things I have loved most about this summer is our mountain weddings!  I have so enjoyed getting to know some of Colorado's finest mountain towns like Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, and Breckenridge!  This wedding was another favorite to work on as Michelle (the beautiful bride!) was a blast to work with.  Not only was she super laid back and open to ideas, but everything about her weddings was colorful and exuberant!  When I saw this first picture, I immediately emailed my dear friend and photography genius, Becky Young to say, "That is my favorite photo of all time!"  I love the excitement and joy caught in that moment.  Congrats, Michelle & Colin!!!  It was my pleasure to work with you!  Keep in touch (:

The Bridal Bouquet was a vibrant mix of colors.  Flowers used were orange dahlias, fuchsia spray roses, yellow roses, oncidium orchids (one of my favs!) and billy balls.

Boutonnieres were made of orange mokara orchids and lily grass loops.  With a turquoise bowtie to match the guys' patterned ties.

Again, another fabulous shot of this new style of corsage that we have been designing.  A single fuchsia peony on a beaded wristlet.  So chic and fun for non-traditional moms!

Michelle had a patterned aisle runner and we provided clean, modern lanterns with yellow oncidium orchids peeping through the open tops.

Michelle's banquet-style tables were decorated with patterned runners and lantern floral arrangements.  I love how crisp and clean these turned out!  We also included several vintage bottles down the center of the table with mono-botanical arrangements of zinnias, billy balls, and bells of ireland.  Just a fun pop of color!
