Cori Cook Floral Design + Sara Hasstedt | Denver Botanic Gardens

We can't imagine a more feminine, dreamy style of photography than the amazingness that happens behind Sara Hasstedt's camera.  I'm shouting it from the rooftops: "Hire Sara and then hire us too, and I promise we'll make your wedding beautiful!"  When she sent over these images a few weeks ago, we all squealed and danced and maybe shed a tear or two.  They have been burning a hole in my pocket ever since and I just want to share this loveliness with the world!

This wedding just confirms our ever growing love of film photography.  Film is just so dreamy and soft, so beautiful and timeless.  We feel like it's the perfect match for our style of floral design and for this gorgeous bride.  Sorry about the rant, but I can't guarentee another film-gushing conversation won't happen again in the near future.

Now about the flowers!  It is so perfectly refreshing to work with brides that TRUST us, who have a look and vibe in mind, but trust us to make the little decisions along the way to make their flowers beautiful and unique.  I love that Jessica enjoys so much texture and freedom in design.  It was an absolute blast to work with such fun flowers...king protea, blushing bride, coral peonies, garden roses, viburnum, snaps, blooming jasmine vine...just so fun.  Even though we're tired and we've been working our little fingers to the bone this season, it's days like this that I sit back and think, "I'm so blessed to get to be a part of such beauty."  So thank you Sara, and thank you Jessica for that amazing reminder!

Congrats Jessica + Matthew!  To see more, check out the Snippet & Ink feature on this wedding here.

Alix + Vince | Mile High Station, Denver

Alix + Vince's wedding was the perfect way to start 2014!  I just loved working with this bride.  Her style is sophisticated, but also playful and her approach to wedding planning was free-spirited, giving us the freedom to be creative and fun.  I love how it turned out.  We Tie the Knots, yet again, blew us away with their vision for a ceremony in the round, their fabulous linen choices, and their amazing ability to plan and design beautiful, seamless weddings.  If you haven't noticed, we LOVE working with them.

And in our opinion, there is no better time to get married than Spring...the flower choices are UNREAL.  For this one, we chose a palette of white anemones with sweet dark centers, blush o'hara roses, blush sahara roses, bluah aushwater roses, (are you seeing a theme here?), stock, hydrangea, ranunculus, blooming jasmine vine, bayleaf...ahhhh!!!

A Fall Wedding at Lone Hawk Farms | Boulder, CO

Two words for you: Peach Amaryllis. Our newest obsession. As designers, we are constantly looking for ways to use different varieties of flowers, complex color palettes, and unique shapes and dimension for our arrangements and bouquets. We had been waiting for an opportunity to showcase some peach amaryllis and Nick and Betsy's wedding was the perfect fit. A blend of pale peaches, blushes, and ivories with pops of rich raspberry and coral tones was to die for!

The floral design for this wedding matched the day perfectly: fun, warm, vibrant, and beaming with love. Can't you just tell that these two are head over heels for one another? Thanks Nick and Betsy for letting us be a part of your wedding day!

Tented Backyard Wedding | Cherry Creek | Cori Cook Floral Design

This wedding was one of my very favorites of the summer.  It really was a perfect day.  The weather was beautiful, the flowers that we were able to get our hands on were to die for, and the bride...oh man.  We obsessed about her amazing dress, but even more amazing was the way she literally radiated JOY all day long.  In fact, eveyone involved in this wedding were full of grace and beauty, making our job really easy, and so much fun.

Backyard weddings are just cool in our opinion.  This one was so personal, intimate, and elegantly casual.  We crossed our fingers, prayed, and begged our supplier to get this floral order perfect.  It ended up being a flower lover's dream.  We were delighted with the fluffy cafe au lait dahlias, perfectly blush aushwater roses, and wait for it:  YELLOW PEONIES.  You should have heard the squeals of delight in the studio when they arrived.  To see more, click here!

Congratulations Bryn + Dave.  You two rock.
